Phase II Construction Manager. A growing, vibrant congregation of 3000 rostered members, Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in East Bethel, MN, seeks an individual to guide us through our second phase of construction. As we work on the 20,000 square foot addition, we hope to utilize as much talent from within our own congregation as possible. Responsibilities will include working with the building committee, architecture firm, sub-contractors, and, to some extent, volunteers. Requirements: must be able to coordinate numerous on-going tasks; motivate & inspire sub-contractors and volunteers; accommodate the fiscal plan developed by the building committee; ensure job site safety; and coordinate manpower, subcontractors and materials between office and jobsite. Experience in commercial-grade building construction is a plus; membership at Our Saviour's would be a bonus, but is not a requirement. Note: we will also be looking for subcontractors to help with phase II after we find a construction manager.
