When asked about his music background, Jeff shared, "I played brass in high school and college (trumpet, baritone, horn, French horn, valve trombone). I play guitar mandolin, Irish whistle, Irish flute, and recorders. I was a choral musician at St. Olaf College, Anoka Ramsey Community College, St. Paul Opera Workshop, International Choral tours (1975 and 1980) and a vocal soloist at Backstage @ Bravo in Mpls. (2000). I have been a worship band leader, worship music composer (1991-1997), participated in numerous musical comedies (1972-1979), and was a Scottish musician (Ian MacFarlane) for the MN and Siouxland Renaissance Festivals (2003-2007)."
It may surprise you to learn that Jeff was ordained in the ELCA Lutheran Church and served as a minister in the Mankato, MN area from 1986-97.
If he could spend a free day doing whatever he wanted Jeff said, "I enjoy the cabin, canoeing, MN's North Shore, riding my motorcycle, and new release movies."
