Jan Green

Publications Secretary

Jan joined Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in the spring of 1988 and the church staff in Dec. 1998.

Jan is married to Ben Green, husband of 28 years. They have three children; Elizabeth, Andrew, and Hannah.  Jan and Ben lived in northeast Minneapolis before moving to East Bethel in 1987.

When asked how Our Saviour's has nurtured her faith, Jan shared that her faith has been nurtured by "regular worship attendance, participation in Bible studies, and the experience of nurturing the faith of my children. I have also felt extremely blessed to be a part of the Our Saviour's staff. As such, I have been given the permission and space to grow as a spiritual person. I am daily witness to the many faithful people I work with and worship with. This has increased my faith immensely!"

Jan shared about her passion, "I have always had a love of drama and have discovered a passion to make it happen. I also love having a paint brush in my hands!"

It might surprise you to learn that Jan has a purple belt in Karate.

When asked what she would do with a free day she said she would spend the day at the library or an art museum.
