Heather Kneefe

Power UP Worship Leader, Wedding Coordinator

Heather Kneefe has been a member of Our Saviour's since 1980. She has two daughters, Maddison and Mackenzie and a dog, Maiya. During the day, Heather works as an administrative services coordinator for the City of Shoreview Parks and Recreation Department.

 You will find Heather in many different places within the music groups of Our Saviour's! She is currently the director/vocalist/ keyboard player for the Power UP Worship Band on Wednesday evenings. She subs on Sunday mornings in the worship band and occasionally provides special music. You might also find her subbing for the handbell choirs and Celebration Choir from time-to-time. She also provides music for many weddings and funerals at Our Saviour's.

When asked if she participates in any musical venues outside Our Saviour's, Heather said, "I'm all over the place! I work part time for Premier Entertainment, a Twin Cities based DJ/Karaoke company. I float to many different venues within the Twin Cities area."

The music ministries at Our Saviour's has always been an important piece in Heather's faith journey. Each music style within Our Saviour's worship services provide meaningful messages that tell the story of Jesus. "The music feeds my soul and carries me through each day of the week. Our worship services are richly blessed with music and spoken word that provide a sense of security in knowing that God is with us at all times."

 Heather enjoys most all types of music! Worship and praise, country, rock, blues, jazz, and classical.

When asked what would surprise us about her she said, "My parents never gave me a middle name and I hate cheese!"

If given a free day to do anything she wanted, she would spend the day shopping!
