Barb Minder

Secretary of Church Membership

Barb joined Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in 1985 and the church staff in 1994. However, if you think you've seen her in the office longer than that, you're right. She was an office volunteer before being hired.

Barb is married to Glen Minder, spouse of 35 years. She has two grown children and three grandchildren. Before coming to Our Saviour's Barb grew up in Columbia Heights and attended First Lutheran Church.

Barb has been nurtured at Our Saviour's by wonderful preachers/teachers, great music, as well as Bible studies. She feels especially blessed to have the privilege of working with the people and staff of OSLC. When asked what her favorite passion in life is Barb said, "Enjoying God's marvelous creation by being out of doors, gardening, hiking, camping, and studying it. I always enjoyed learning about the earth sciences and biology."

Something that might surprise you about Barb is that she enjoys playing with puppets and making up stories to tell.  Her co-workers especially love this about her.

Asked what she would do with a free day to do anything she wanted, Barb said, "Hmmm, be outside, go kayaking, or do some gardening."
