Fare for All Express

For anyone who may be interested, there is a  program in the Twin Cites called "Fare for All Express" and is open to everyone, not just low-income folk. Find the nearest location to you at Fare for All Locations. $10 buys a vegetarian pack, and $17 buys a regular pack. The regular pack includes 4 or more fresh vegetable items, 2 or more fresh fruit items and 3-4 frozen meats. There is no limit to the number of packages you purchase, but you have to take what is in the pack. Family Table Meals

Meals are served in local churches, free of charge to the community. A list of locations and times is available at Family Table Meals.

North Anoka County Emergency Food Shelf (NACE)

18511 Hwy 65 NE, Suite 200, East Bethel (Stone Brothers' Building)

Mondays, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.; Tuesdays 6-8 p.m.; Wednesdays,1-4:30 p.m.

Second Location: 22817 Typo Creek Dr NE in Linwood

Thursdays 7:30–10:30 a.m.; Fridays 7:30-10:30 a.m.

The NACE, in partnership with all available and willing resources, strives  to curb suffering from hunger in our communities by providing balanced nutrition to all people who are truly in need.  

You are welcome to visit the food shelf every 60 days.  We ask that for each adult in the household you bring an I.D. and a piece of mail with your current address.

The Clothing Closet is located at the same location as NACE Food Shelf (see above). The Clothing Closet welcomes families who are in need. All clothing is free of charge.
