Youth Group Wednesday Nights

Youth Group will meet many Wednesdays throughout the summer at the home of Brad and Sally Kadlec (directions from Our Saviour's). See Youth Group Schedule for dates and times.

Bible Camp Opportunities at Wapo Bible Camp

Watch for 2011 dates for the following camp experiences

JOC-Journey of the Cross

For youth who have completed grades 7-12

At this adventure camp, youth tent-camp, bike along the Gandy Dancer Trail System (must bring own bike and bike helmet), canoe the St. Croix river, hike and rock climb at Interstate Park and horse back ride at Ox Lake. This camp is a wonderful challenge both physically, emotionally, and most of all spiritually. Sunday registration is at Ox Lake from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Parents/guardians are invited to closing worship at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Bus transportation is available for $12.

Ox Lake-International Villages

For youth who have completed grades 4-9

This international camp helps youth explore countries around the world. International staff, worship Bible studies, and ethnic meals are all a part of this experience. You will also enjoy campfires, swimming, canoeing, canteen, Bible studies, arts and crafts and more. Sunday registration is at Ox Lake from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Parents/guardians are invited to closing worship at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Bus transportation is available for $12.

T.I.M. Team (Teens in Mission)

For youth who have completed grades 9-12

This is a leadership training camp. Team building, Bible studies, peer ministry, and a low/high ropes challenge course are a few of the elements to this training. The goal of this team of at least four high school students is to commit to one year of service ministry in their home congregations working with younger children. Camp begins with training on Friday at 7:00 p.m. (at Ox Lake) and concludes at 2:00 p.m. the following Friday (at Wapo). Please note: Transportation is not provided. Car-pooling is encouraged.

Cost: $380

BWCA Mission/Canoe Trip - Gunflint Trail, Grand Marais, MN

July 29-Aug. 4, 2010

This is a hybrid trip: a fun trip and a mission trip combined!  We will be supporting the efforts of Wilderness by helping rebuild their camp after the deadly fires that ravaged their site three years ago as well as getting out to enjoy the Boundary Waters with canoe trips.

pirT noissiM (A Backwards Mission Trip)        

Watch for 2011 dates

The group will be continuing the partnership with Hmong Central Lutheran Church. This is a fun, onsite mission trip at Our Saviour's with a tent/camper village on the church lawn, helping out with VBS kids in the mornings, going to St. Paul to do cultural learning and service in the Hmong community, and hanging out at night.
