Boundary Waters Trip LITE Edition  

July 9-13, 2012 for 5th-12th Grade. Adults welcome, too!

Concerned about sending your most valuable young person away for more than a week in the deep mysterious woods?  Then check this out! This is our first ever canoe trip including all youth as young as 5th grade. This is the LITE edition of our bigger canoe trip that will be a fun, four-night trip to introduce youth to a spiritual experience in the wilderness. It will be a laid back, slower paced canoe trip only 3.5 hours away from home. You don't have to be younger to join us as it will also be a great first timer trip or even just another calendar option if you can't join us in August.

The cost is $325, TBD by final numbers. A $75 deposit is required to sign up! Personal gear required but all group gear included. Deadline to sign up is Jan. 30.

Cost covers a week of food, fun, five brightly colored t-shirts, a journal, flashlight, refillable water bottle, and an opportunity to grow deeper in your faith through serving others.

We will be continuing our partnership with Hmong Central Lutheran Church for a fun, onsite mission trip at Our Saviour's. We will serve as Vacation Bible School (VBS) helpers in the morning, enjoy exciting afternoon and evening activities, and sleep in our very own tent village at night.
