Newborn Adoption Ministry Cradle Role

When you welcome a new member to your family, consider contacting Our Saviour's. We would love to celebrate with you. We only hear about a new birth or adoption if it comes from the family. The Cradle Role ministry sends notes of support and encouragement for the first three years of your child's life until your child is ready to be enrolled in a formal education program at Our Saviour's.

Baptism Class

Baptism is one of the sacraments of the Lutheran Church that can be celebrated at any age. It is through baptism that "we are first received into the Christian Community" (Luther's Large Catechism). Our Saviour's requires that all families wishing to bring a small child or infant to be baptized, attend a one-hour baptism class. Classes are offered on the second Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. Please pre-register for this class by contacting Brice Bloxham.

If you are an adult or youth seeking baptism for yourself, contact the church office for specific instruction regarding your baptism. No matter what age you are, we look forward to celebrating with you this most gracious and unconditional expression of God's love.

Family Faith Beginnings

Our Saviour's wants to welcome those who are newly baptized into the family of Christ with a Family Faith Beginnings gift box. This gift box contains a children's book or a devotional to help raise your child or grow your own faith as you learn more about what it means to be baptized.

Nursery

Available during worship for children ages 3 and under.

The Nursery is open during 9:15 and 10:45 a.m. worship on Sunday mornings, September-May. During the summer (June-August) the nursery is open during 10:00 a.m. worship on Sundays. The nursery is staffed by trained, caring adults and youth and is supplied with a paging system for contacting parents/guardians if they are needed to return for any reason.

Worship for all Ages

Our Saviour's Lutheran Church is a place of worship for all ages. During worship we have two resources available for your small children.

• Children's bulletins, called "Kids Celebrate," are available from the ushers during Sunday worship. These bulletins have a kid friendly look at the scriptures for that day.
• Across from the Worship Space, next to the Nursery, you will find a cart with Busy Bags which are filled with activities to help keep active, little ones engaged during worship. Feel free to pick up a bag for your child to use. Bags are updated weekly.
