BeFriender Ministry
Be empowered to assist in the ever-growing need for pastoral care. BeFrienders are lay people who reach out in God's love to struggling people; to be a companion on the journey through their listening, presence, and compassion, bringing with them the gift of God's love. Visits are made to hospitals, homes, nursing homes, and other settings. Consider spending 1-2 hours each week as a listening presence. BeFrienders also attend a monthly meeting on the first Monday of the month, 6:30 pm. from Sept.-May. All BeFrienders are thoroughly trained at Our Saviour's during a 6 week session.
Find out more in the BeFriender Ministry brochure.

Tree of Life Library
2nd Tues. of the month 4:00 – 5:30 p.m.
If you have a love for books and care about having a
well-organized, accessible Library at Our Saviour’s that offers
good, Christian reading and study resources, please join this
group that will meet monthly. Have fun with new friends, share
your passion for books, and help organize and process the books
in the Library.
The Tree of Life Library helps to grow the family of God by
providing access to materials, which support this initiative.
Proceeds from fundraisers such as book sales and hospitality
provide books/videos/CDs/DVDS for the library, supplies for the
library, and resources to support storytelling/puppets for
Sunday School. A yearly book sale is held to encourage reading
at home as well as in church and school. If you are interested
in being a member of this hard working team contact
Susan Ahlers.
