Jesus said: "Ask and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who knocks, the door will be opened." ~Matthew 7:7-9

Our Saviour's is committed to helping people grow in their faith by providing Christian Education opportunities. Our Pastors are called to teach and there are always learning opportunities provided by them and by other gifted leaders in the congregation. We are also a gift to the community by providing education opportunities for the people in our congregation and community.

Groups meet at Our Saviour's unless otherwise indicated. For questions about any of these learning opportunities or to sign up, please contact the church office.

Online Bible Study for Lutherans

Anywhere in the world where there is internet access, we have access to a wonderful weekly Bible study available whenever and wherever we want to use it. Daily Discipleship is a free, online, downloadable, lectionary Bible study (a lectionary is a list of scripture texts assigned for reading on particular days) based on the gospel lesson used at Sunday worship. Each weekly session is designed for Daily Discipleship Groups of two to seven people who gather to prepare for upcoming Sunday worship (or to reflect on the previous weeks reading) by discussing the assigned gospel lesson's implications for daily living. It can be easily adapted for personal devotions, e-mail conversation between friends at a distance, or even for sermon preparation. The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America produces Daily Discipleship as a service to ELCA Lutherans and anyone , anywhere, who would like an easy to access devotional Bible study. Personal Retreat

Pacem in Terris, Peace on Earth, is a Franciscan Center of Spirituality called to serve God's people through prayer and by providing the opportunity to retreat into the silence and solitude of a simple hermitage environment.  Pacem in Terris is a hermitage sanctuary, where guests can be free of daily distractions, pressures, and obligations. Without schedules or expectations to meet, the hermit can more simply follow Christ's example of seeking a "lonely place to pray", allow God to become the sole retreat director, and find rest in body, mind, and spirit. Find out more at the Pacem in Terris website.
